Help for Downloading Files on a Macintosh

Download the RealAudio Player for Macintosh version 1.0

Open Transport Beta now available

If your Web browser is properly configured, a helper application will translate the file from BinHex format into an executable application. Once the download is complete, just double-click on the RealAudio Installer icon in your "temp" folder (or wherever you've told the browser to store downloads). If you cannot find the RealAudio Installer, search for a file called "RealAudio Installer ". If you have a file whose name ends in ".hqx" then it is still in Bin Hex format. Please see our Instructions for Downloading Files on a Macintosh.

16 bit Sound

The RealAudio Player requires 16 bit sound. If you do not have 16-bit sound, you can install Apple Sound_Manager 3.0 or 3.1 or a third party sound manager application. Sound_Manager 3.0 comes with System 7.5.
A free upgrade to Sound Manager 3.0 is available from any of these sites: Sound Manager 3.1 is available from: www.support.apple.com/pub/apple_sw_updates/US/Macintosh/system_sw..."
