Simulation
of Global Warming in MRI

An Atmosphere-Ocean Coupling Global Circulation Model has been developed to simulate
the global warming by increasing CO2 by 1% / year starting from the 1985 condition.
In this presentation we will show you the results of our 70-year simulation. If you
are interested in the model, you may go to "Model Description" session.

To validate the model, we ran the model without increasing CO2 ( control run ) and
examined not only the annual change of sea ice coverage over the polar region but
also the El Nino-like phenomena over the tropical Pacific with a 3-6 year periodicity.
